One of those high-quality features is the 10 inch LCD Integrated SI console—a Surface Capacitive Touch Screen console that combines a slew of intelligent readouts with an abundance of entertainment options. Some of the readouts that users of this bike will see as they workout include heart rate statistics—offered through both touch-based and wireless heart rate monitoring; resistance; time elapsed and time remaining; calories burned (including calories burned per hour); watts, METs; distance traveled; speed and average speed; pace; and more. In terms of entertainment, the SI console can be used for listening to music, watching movies, playing games and even surfing the web, all while charging one’s favorite tablet and smart phone.

The Life Fitness 95R Discover SI Recumbent Bike comes standard with 20 built-in workout options from which riders can choose—or they can create their own customized workout if they choose by combining different levels of resistance. Some of the pre-set programs include a Quick Start function—very handy for commencing rapidly with the workout; a strenuous hill course; a Random setting; programs that measure time, distance and calories; a US Navy PRT fitness test; several interval style workout programs; a “time in zone” mode; regimens that measure pace; and a customized cool down function. There are also 25 distinct levels of resistance, which can gradually increase—or decrease—the difficulty of the workout.

The Life Fitness 95R Discover SI Recumbent Bike features a fully adjustable seat, ergonomically designed handlebars, and front wheels for easy mobility. It even includes conveniences like an integrated reading rack, a water bottle holder; and an accessory tray.
