Can the Precor TRM 835 run on a normal household outlet?

No. It needs its own 120-volt, 20-amp individual branch circuit, one breaker feeding one outlet. The footprint is 83 by 35 inches, so plan about 7 by 3 feet of floor plus clearance behind the belt.
