Precor SCL 835 Stairclimber

The Precor SCL 835 is a commercial revolving-step stair climber with the P31 LED console and a 9 ft 9 in recommended ceiling height, so it fits rooms where a taller stepmill will not. It is built for health clubs and training facilities, and it suits a home gym with a standard 10-foot ceiling.

What you get

• P31 LED console with 10 workouts and well-placed resistance controls
• Dynamic Step Control that holds the step rate within plus or minus 0.5 steps per minute, slow or fast, for riders of any size
• Low-maintenance 428 O-ring motorcycle step chain: no planned maintenance, inspect annually, clean and lubricate only if needed
• Service panels that come off in under a minute; a design that keeps sweat and fluids out of the mechanism
• Tested through more than 30 tests over 10,000 hours in the lab and field

What ceiling height does the Precor SCL 835 need?

Precor recommends 9 ft 9 in. The machine itself is 84 in tall, but you stand on steps above the base, so measure from the floor to the lowest point of the ceiling, and count light fixtures and fans. It runs on a standard 120-volt, 15-amp outlet.
