Does the Precor EFX 685 with the P84 need power?

Yes. Unlike the self-powered LED-console EFX models, the touchscreen version runs on a 120-volt, 15-amp circuit, so plan the placement near an outlet. The console supports English plus 17 other languages, including Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
