Glutebuilder Pendulum Kickback

The Glutebuilder Pendulum Kickback is a plate-loaded kickback machine that reproduces the cable kickback from a kneeling position, with the movement isolated to the hip joint. It suits gyms and studios that want a more stable alternative to kickbacks on a cable column.

What you get

The machine with contoured hip and knee pads that give the kneeling user a secure base, and an adjustable pendulum bar that sets the fit for different leg lengths. Weight plates are not included.

Why a pendulum instead of a cable?

A cable kickback asks the standing leg to balance while the working leg moves; here the knee and hips rest on pads, so the load goes into the movement rather than into staying upright, and the arc of the pendulum follows the hip through its range.
