Standard legs or tall legs?

Standard legs put the seat 14 in off the floor. The RowErg with tall legs is the same machine with a 20 in seat height, which is easier to get on and off; everything else is identical.

Does the Concept2 RowErg need an outlet?

No. The PM5 runs on two D-cell batteries and draws power from the spinning flywheel while you row.
